Just a fairly quick impressionist landscape of the old school in Edgefield, a magical place. As always, I wish the sky had scanned better; it's a moderately better one than usual.
This is a quick, loose sketch of the cottage my daughter is living in this summer while doing an internship in Michigan. We hate her being gone all summer -- especially so far away that it's prohibitive for us to visit her. But this is a great learning experience for her. So, more power to the Puddinator!
Here's one from my instrument series. Most of these are done with charcoal and watercolor, an interesting mix that gives a wonderful amount of depth. I have a moderate connection to the clarinet as both of my older sisters played clarinet through jr. high and high school.
