Red White & Bling - acrylics + ink

mixed, 2014
original available, 11"x14" $125

Just a quickie pop-art idea I had. I'll probably squeeze a few more of these out between larger pieces.

Mustang #1 - acrylics

acrylics, 2006
original available, 12"x16" $200

This is a very early piece, probably one of the first two or three cars I painted. I'm posting my Mustang paintings all month to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the original Pony Car.

Blandwood - gouache

gouache, 2014
original available, 11"x15" $150

Home of former N.C. Governor John Morehead in Greensboro, N.C. I took a little license in making it more yellow than its rather "bland" beige. I may do another painting of it from a different angle and keep the color more realistic.

Toothy Grin - gouache

gouache, 2014
original available - 11"x15" $200

It's '49 Buick Super Dynaflo convertible, quite possibly one of the prettiest pieces of rolling sculpture Detroit ever produced.

Lubitel - ink

ink, 2011

This is an ink sketch of a Russian Lubitel TLR I bought almost 30 years ago well before the recent fascination with cheap plastic cameras. It shoots medium format 120 film. I've only put a few rolls through it in all these years. I need to get it out and play some more.
