Red Royal - gouache

gouache, 2015
available, 11"x15"

I never had the pleasure of typing on a manual typewriter. My first typewriter was a monster IBM Selectric. That was probably 1985 and it might have been several years old by the time I got it.

  2. I started with a manual in the 1950's and the transition was easy and still today I can type on my computer keyboard. that is what is nice about standardizing ... look how many years it has been and it is still consistent. But, that said ... I have never seen such a gorgeous red typewritter. You seized the moment with this picture ,,,Really nice!

  4. Nice. You got a great shine like a real metal typewriter would have!

  5. This is wonderful. In fact I like your art very much. This is my first (but not last) visit to your blog. - I've actually typed on old manual typewriters, so different from the keyboards of today. - I'm a new follower.

  6. Granny learnt to type on an old typewriter Triumph and she remembered that her fingers slipped between the keyboard at first. We just found her first typewriter in the attic. It's 46 years old, but it still works :D Pawkisses :) <3
